Lunar Chinese New Year Parade

The San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade, celebrating the Year of the Snake, will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025 and starts at 5:00 PM from 2nd and Market St. The event is free for all, but bleacher seats must be purchased. 

Kim Shuck's Poem Jam Celebrates Iranian Women

San Francisco Poet Laureate emerita Kim Shuck and poet Mahnaz Badihian invite poets Dena Rod and Maryam Raeesdana, musician Sirvan Manhobi, and special guests from Iranian American Women in Network to celebrate Iranian women and their struggle at SFPL’s monthly poetry reading.

Drumbeat, Heartbeat, Community As One
