DOSW spearheads the Mayor’s Task Force on Human Trafficking and analyzes trafficking data in San Francisco. Our analysis of the landscape during the COVID pandemic shed light on many improvement areas to better support survivors.
Ordinance 243-18, passed in 2018, mandated that women be represented in at least 30% of all public spaces, including in art, street names, parks, and buildings. Our on-going analysis shows that the City is still woefully behind on that goal.
